Photos above, left and below - The former NYC engine facility at Oxville. Engine house is an IHC 0 scale kit that was narrowed, shortened and lowered. It would have taken less time to build something from scratch. The signal bridge and coaling tower are kit bashed plasticville models.

The dwarf signal is an old Life Like HO conversion. It came without lights. The switch stand is scratch built from brass tubing and sheet stock. The target was made with a paper punch and rotates with the switch points.

The turnout on top is a code 137 rail #6 with a swing-nose frog. This allows operation of scale, high rail and American Flyer equipment on the NYC mainline. Lower turnout is code 100 #6 built on Fastrack Jig.

The granite slab is actually Lake Huron. It also doubles as a place to put something cold and refreshing while railfaning.
